Today I wanna talk about my fashion icon who is talented and famous entrepreneur. VIVY YUSOF !!

With her very own home grown fashion empire, Vivy Yusof is the quintessential female triple threat – mother, a model and a successful entrepreneur. She is unlike any other. She is a founder of Fashion Valet, has a strong passion for reading and writing. Her passion for writing has kept her going, everything from parenting, fashion, and relationships.

She is 28 and happily married with 2 children: Daniel and Mariam. She is currently run FashionValet with her husband, Fadza Anuar. Fashion Valet is one of Asia’s leading multi-label online sites carrying Asian designer labels, and the dUCk Group, a lifestyle brand of headscarves.

What brings me to know further about her is im too impress with her education history because it’s pretty interesting. She have had a taste of every different school; public school, boarding school, all-girls school, Islamic school, private school but she changed schools a lot because she used to get bored. She studied A-Levels and SPM at the same time, flying back and forth between KL and the UK and ended up with flying colours.

How did they come up with the idea of FashionValet?

Both of them studied in the UK where online consumerism was a part of daily life and after graduating university and returning to Malaysia, they realised that e-commerce was non-existent at home back in 2010. After being frustrated at the lack of online shopping options available and Vivy and her husband decided to fill the gap by introducing a new business. They talked to local designers and realised they were having challenges in reaching out the business. So that’s why this couple created FashionValet to push Malaysia towards expanding its consumer habits, but also to promote local designers.

What is your definition of success? –By Vivy Yusof

“I don’t define success because I don’t feel the need to. Once you define it and you achieve it, then what happens? Complacency or self-pride happens, which is bad. I just do my thing and set new goals every time I’ve hit one, and not think too much about it.”

Anyway, it just a post that I wanted to share because in expanding the business you have to make someone as a role-model. Just to boost up your spirit !!

Okay I need to stop here because they are so many things I have to settle down. *crying*
